This is my digital collage for the 4x4friday challenge where the theme is Cemetery Angels. The background is from (scrapbookgraphics) altered and re-colored. Angel and stone work (googled), antique botanical images added. There are so many dark versions of cemeteries that I decided to do a lighter more uplifting piece.

I'm delighted to see you go with such a lovely tribute to cemetery art. I for one, go to cemeteries to find and photograph old statues and graves. You have shown beauty and so many meanings in this piece that could not have been achieved in a darker piece. Simply beautiful and great choice.
ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful! I love to visit old cemetaries for the art that is available for rubbings and photos. Some vaults even house "Tiffany" stained glass.
