June Bride

As I was creating this June entry for my own calendar "Book of Days" series, Take a Word challenge put forth "Weddings" as the theme this week so this collage works for both!  Imagery blended and painted in PSE7 from Dover Books, Finecrafted and Holliewood at Deviant Scrap, Calendar ephemera and Doves from Tumblefish.

Happiness to all of the June brides out there!  It is traditional for June weddings but any month can be beautiful.  My son and his fiance have chosen September this year (we are all very excited) and I personally love the month of September here in California.  Warm with a bit of late summer/harvest feel in the air.

    Beautifully creative and we are left to wonder if the wedding boat is going to sink!! A lovely, humorous touch. I thought to myself ... "what a wonderful card to give to your son and his bride" but then, maybe not if it is a forecast of things to come.
