Graphite
Carbon shadows linger
in cracks of limestone
filament.
Remnants etched
from lives passed;
lived well but short.
Fleeting yet forever told
in graphite stories.
Look well, look hard;
Secrets are unveiled
in mundane guise, forever lost
by momentary distraction.
All is not as it seems.....
Digital collage and poem for a gray Thursday evening. Imagery credits go to Holliewood and Finecrafted designs at Deviant scrap. Also from Lorie Davison at Scrapbookgraphics.
