This is my entry for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge "Houses". I used a vintage image of historical houses in Paris overlayed with stamps, old text and clip art from Stampington. Digital painting for color effects.

I should join that Sunday postcard challenge this week, since I so love houses. Of course, this postcard would be a welcome gift for anyone. I really like all the vintage houses you used in this, and the text adds a really special touch. As usual, you have made one very lovely postcard.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the images you have used.
ReplyDeleteReally love the old houses. Wonderful postcard :)
ReplyDeleteI love this Lori. The house images are wonderful and the overlaying with the words--looks just great!
ReplyDeleteThe three rows of houses is a gorgeous composition and the background works beautifully! Funny, I am doing some houses today too(O:

ReplyDeleteWowow Lori this is great!! A very creative idea, I love your card, super!!
ReplyDeleteA magnificent artpiece, Lori, even more so when enlarged!! Isn't it frustrating to come up with a crisply defined picture that loses so much when uploaded on the blog? It is even more noticeable when texts are used. This wasn't always the case methinks.
ReplyDeleteLori, your blog is always a joy to visit. Your work is truly unique and beautifully crafted.
Fantastic colors and design!
