The Book Of Shadows
This is my entry for the Sunday Postcard Art Challenge where the theme is "Magic". A Book of Shadows is a magical compendium of spells and charms that is passed on from generation to generation. Part herbal lore, part myth with a mixture of science and nature - a journal of observations and beliefs. My spell caster is from (e-vint.com), book is clip art from (Stampington)- I added old script and gradient hues. Postal stamps from (Provo craft) and raven image is from (Dover).

I love this - it is so pretty. Im inspired to Try to create a digital image, however, I need special software dont I?
ReplyDeleteAm I able to do something like this with the software that came installed on my MacBook? I think it's called iPhoto - presumably that is Not what you use.
Suggestions that won't break the bank? I am loathe to pay a jillion dollars for Adobe Photoshop.
Any advice is welcome because I really want to try out digital collages!
