Found this great old image and had to use her in this digital collage. I added dragonfly images and many layers of art paper and artisitc filters to create a gauzy effect.
The dragonflies are so, so subtle, I had to look twice before I saw them. Of course I fixated on the woman and what looked like torn and repaired (or maybe folded) old paper in the background. What more can I say except this piece is simply splendid.
Art and mixed media have always been a part of my life. From early on I began with fiber arts, stained glass and onto mosaics and altered journals. I have tried to express myself through a whole range of art processes. I am a wife, a mother and lover of nature and hope that some of the things I have made bring some joy and inspiration to others. Digital collage is a new voice for my art expression and a way to continue evolving.
This is beautiful Lori, and she is fantastic!
