This is my entry for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week where the theme is "crackle".
This is a digital collage and I began the layering with an old crackle artist paper as the background and cropped and overlayed rose images and the image of the woman's face (Dover) on top. I added a postal stamp and text and reduced opacity enough to let the crackle through for the effect of an aging garden wall fresco. The crackle effect is very definative when the picture is enlarged.

Lori! I have not been able to comment for weeks because for some reason, your blog has been freezing up my browser! I'm hoping that this will get through. It's great to see your work again, this is a beautiful image x

ReplyDeleteYou've done wonders with digital crackle, Lori! :) WOW! This reminds me of the old French tapestries you'd find in France...rich in detail and crack. On a sidenote, my copy of Tarot Wisdom arrive this week and my nose has already been buried in it. I even had to drag out the goddes tarot cards I purchased years ago to enjoy while reading. Thanks for the book tip! :)
