Anatomy Journal

This is my digital 4x6 postcard for SPA ( Skulls and Skellies). I made it to resemble an old , stained Anatomy class type journal page. The background is made from scanned artist papers and an overlayed antique skeleton image. I then scanned in my magnifying glass and played around with the image until it became "see-through" as if to magnify the bone section.

    lori this is amazing! i've been racking my brain trying to come up with something for the challenge tomorrow and here you have already completed yours! i really like the idea of scanning your magnifying glass to magnify the one section of his arm..good stuff and very clever!

    With the maps in the corner it suggests a page from an old archaeological text.

    Really great work Lori! I haven't been on for a while and to come back and find such marvellous work really put a smile on my dial :)

    I've always had quite an interest in the aesthetics of old anatomic images and this is just brilliant! Love all the layers.
