Well I had a lot of fun with Toucans and rainforest creatures in these pieces for the Three Muses this week where the theme is "Exotic Birds". I just asked my husband which one he liked best to post and he liked them both so here they are. (He said the top piece would make a great cocktail napkin)- so much for the home critic! Imagery credits go to Beth Rimmer designs and Holliewood at deviant scraps. Tree frog and Toucans were googled. Face image from Dover and background layers of vintage botanica.

Men are hopeless aren't they...but cute and handy to have around. I love them both also they are both deep rich and fantastic...excellent artwork!!!
ReplyDeleteI love them both too, Lori, especially the colours of the first one and the magical effects of the second!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful but I tend to like the second one the best..xx
ReplyDeleteNo wonder, hubby had trouble picking just one, Lori! They're both gorgeous pieces of art :)
ReplyDeleteBravo, the colour of the imagery is stunning, I vote on number 2.
ReplyDeleteExotic and intriguing...I prefer the second one myself. Have a great week! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteToucans are such fascinating and beautiful birds. I love both of the pictures, though. I would love to visit the tropics!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't choose between the two, Lori. They are both magnificent. I don't have toucans in my garden but strelitzias (bird of paradise plants) grow like weeds.
ReplyDeleteAs always, scrumptious artwork.
Brilliant!! Fabulous pieces! Both are wonderful but I must say the second one is my favorite.

Gorgeous work as always Lori. The first one is deep and luscious and the second one really draws me into it's magic.xx
ReplyDeleteThese are both exotic and beautiful. I love the first one. I think your hubby is right. It would also make a fabulous invitation to a summer party!
ReplyDeleteExotica plus! I agree the the top one would make a wonderful cocktail napkin. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI knew I'd find something special here ... and I found TWO specials....a bonus! I tend to prefer the second, but I find toucans to be fascinating as well. Beautiful work, Lori!
ReplyDeleteboth are terrific!! if you get the napkins produced, please send me some over;))
ReplyDeleteIt was a very difficult choice, Lori, but the second piece just has something even more special than the first. Breathtaking artwork in each.
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are stunning plus I adore toucans. Great atmosphere you've created. Annette x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds! Wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteOh My...this is fabulous.. I totally love this exotic and gorgeous series!! Magnificent..and so lively and energizing! I would love to enter this magical realm of paradise and talk to these creatures.

ReplyDeleteFabulous. Both are equally enchanting and exotic
ReplyDeleteLori, you gave me a good chuckle when I heard about your husband's idea for a cocktail napkin! Although, why not?!?!? There's a lot of $$ to be made in graphic design!!! Both pieces are lovely!!! Hope you have a terrific weekend! Hugs, Terri xoxox
