This is my entry for this week's Theme Thursday challenge "Animal". Old world imagery and text from wikimedia, art papers and elements from Rosey Posey.
Hi Lori...wow..so magical..beautiful..also very ghostly and mystical...love it! it makes me think of my love for horses..and one of my horses I used to have...I miss her! thanks for this beautiful post! as always...you add sparkles to my world! Victoria~
Your stallion reminds me of pictures from very ancient books I used to rummage through in secret book stores. Now we have Barnes and Noble and Books a Million but years ago, one could find unique book stores hidden away in a small alley way. Very nice!
Art and mixed media have always been a part of my life. From early on I began with fiber arts, stained glass and onto mosaics and altered journals. I have tried to express myself through a whole range of art processes. I am a wife, a mother and lover of nature and hope that some of the things I have made bring some joy and inspiration to others. Digital collage is a new voice for my art expression and a way to continue evolving.
Gorgeous stallion, Lori!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent, Lori!
ReplyDeleteVery striking Lori. I really like the way the touch of gold at the side contrasts with the mainly black and white images. Something magical about it!
ReplyDeleteYou really have to click and enlarge this one to see all the crackles on the horse and the glitter of the gold. Very nice!!
