Immortal Bloom

Where roses would not dare to go,
What heart would risk the way-
And so I send my crimson scouts
to sound the enemy.
Emily Dickinson

This is my entry for the Digital-Whisper blog challenge where we were given the rose image to work with. Credits also to deviantartscraps (Holliewood) and scripted artist papers.

  3. Lori, this is so pretty! The elements make the whole piece move......and then silently settle upon her face. Outstanding.

The vulture is an eerie touch...we have tons of them here in our valley. In the day, they find thermals to glide in. At night, they roost in the tall pines right downtown! It's fun to see them come in for a landing!

  12. She has a bit of a vampire look to her-it's her transluscent eyes.. and she does look very confident to me..I wonder what she is thinking? She is thought provoking. I love the title too.
