I do enjoy the romantic theme challenges! This is for The Three Muses this week - the theme being"Moonstruck". I built the background from 2 layers of artist papers then added cropped images (background erased and altered) on the woman and fern images. The rubber-stamped moon is from one of my journal pages and the butterflys I created digitally. Gradient filters added.

Oohhhhh, Lori, I can see the shimmer of the moonlight on those gorgeous ferns and the glimmer on the butterflies' wings! Gorgeous work! You've created a truly magical setting! Hugs, Terri
ReplyDeleteThis is ethereal and mysterious. Did you ever read Gene Stratton Porter's "Girl of the Limberlost", about a young girl who had a secret room in the forest near her home. This somehow reminded me of that book. It's beautiful. Thank you for sharing your talent.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is something very special, Lori. I can't do better than repeat Bev's adjectives "ethereal and mysterious". I love how the moonlight makes the image glow white amidst all the colour. Fantastic take on the theme.
