Island Journey


I have really wanted to do an Island collage for a while now so thanks to Ann at The Three Muses Challenge (Incredible Journey this week) I had a chance to. This is a digital collage made from Dover images, Magenta papers and an added vintage travel scale and compass. I cropped an added some florals from tissue paper. Aloha!

    It would be an incredible journey to set sail for the islands...makes me wish I could feel an ocean breeze...great colour choices in this!

    Reminds me so much of a South Pacific island, Lori, you have captured the atmosphere so well - what a journey it would be!

    This reminds me of a Paul Gaugin painting. It is stunningly beautiful - the colours amazing and the textures so real-looking. I love this challenge because it throws up so many different takes on the one theme. Thanks so much for joining in and giving us such a lovely piece of art.

    Awwww that sounds nice"An island journey". I guess I have been couped up in the house to long. The only journey I go on is to the grocery store! UGH!! Anyway this is really beautiful.Very tropical!
