Awakening

This is my entry for the 4x4Friday challenge where the theme is 'Spring Garden'. Right away I thought of a closeup photo I had taken of a beautiful flower sometime back as it represented the blossoming of spring and renewal of color to the garden. I merged the face image from my vintage beauties collection (e-vint.com) and added gradient hues and brush work digitally.

  8. She is like a rose awakening. Very good title for her. I see the sunlight streaming from her eyes and all aspects of the collage reach for the sun.

  12. I wish I could spend a day with you, picking your brain (well, the imagination side at least). I realize this was probably quite simple for you, but it is one beautiful and stunning piece. The way you integrated the flower around the eyes shows what amazing imagination you have. I could see both photos and never ever come up with a combination that lovely. Thanks for showing what is possible. Have a wonderful weekend, Lori.
