Violets are Blue

This is my digital journal style entry for this week's Three Muses theme which is the color "Blue". A soft, peaceful and sometimes melancholy color I used blue here to evoke a sense of quiet longing and sense of poetic loss. Imagery from Finecrafted designs and Holliewood at Deviant Art, Dover books, and google.

  1. A world of enchantment, another gorgeous dreamscape..dream journey! I felt like flying and flowing immediately with this piece..and loved the doorway/window..was so drawn to it...and funny ..but didnt notice (right away) the person there..how cool! thanks for that meditative surprise ha ha! how did i miss that!

I often find it interesting what we first notice or do not notice when looking at something for the first time...intriguing!!

  20. And you have evoked those feelings so well. This is an exquisite artpiece, Lori. I love how your pictures tell a story and I enjoy the story of your journey through each one from beginning to end. They become much more meaningful to the viewer and, in my case, this is very much appreciated.
