Flights of Fancy

One of the challenges at Digital Whisper is to create a piece that is in the style of a wonderful artist (Maggie Taylor). This is my entry entitled "Baa Baa Black Sheep". A bit nursery rhyme a bit midwest fancy. Most of Taylor's work is vintage mixed with fanciful and somewhat surreal art elements. Credits for this piece go to deviantartscraps, wikimedia and Dover with Photoshop brushes and soft light effects

  7. There is something magical about this simple piece of work. I say simple because most of your work, in your own style is full of lots of detail, texture and softness. I am not familiar with Maggie Taylor's work but will check it out now. I am just sure you hit the mark on this one. Love this piece.
