Florentine

I couldn't resist doing another Autumn piece (alas the end of my Tuscan Summer series) for the Theme Thursday challenge this week. Image from Dover , vintage botanica, photo from wikimedia, doorway from deviantart. It certainly feels like Autumn here at home today so this is my art offering to celebrate the coming seasonal change. Now off to rake some leaves!

  16. Everything you touch turns to gold - or the most beautiful art ever! So many breathtaking pieces to see. I love the tad bit of mystery and dark to your rich work. It has so much depth and sophistication. Sophistication seems to live beyond my simple reach so I am so drawn to it in your work. sigh

    Have a great weekend!

  18. You are on fire. Well, this painting is, at least. It is so hot, it makes me wish for winter. Of course, I know it's supposed to represent fall (and it does with the elements), but the wild and wonderful color scheme you used, makes it really warm. Of course, that's what the Tuscan series was all about, in my opinion. I'll be sad to see this as the final piece, but I anticipate a new series is in the works.
