All the World's a Stage

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts..."
"As you like it" William Shakespeare

This is my entry for the 4x4friday challenge "All things Shakespeare". This is a journal page I made using images from (Dover- cut out paperdoll) dried leaves and flowers, background paper and curtain images from graphic 45. Image of Shakespeare from wikimedia all cut and assembled .

  2. I'm not sure if my last comment went through so here it is again.
I really like the depth of the layers in this collage, Lori.

  3. I studied this play at school. I didn't really get it until we went to see it performed when I loved it. It was so funny! I saw a young Alan Rickman play the character who says this quote - the melancholy Jacques. ~The way you've framed this piece with the stage curtains is perfect!

  11. Why is it that when I think of Shakespeare, I think of that harlequin pattern? It seems you think of it, too. These colors are so rich. A bit brighter than I'm used to in your pallet, but I sure like what you did here. Great quote to accompany a great digital image.
