Chrysalis

This is my entry for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week ( Insects). Multilayers of photo images (e-vint, Kit and kaboodle) over background from scrapbookgraphics. Inverted layers and color burn filters. Moths are a photoshop brush randomly scattered. She is caught up in a fluttering explosion of a cocoon awakening at dusk. A bit of a fractured, frozen dreamscape.

  7. I have no idea where you come up with these wonderful ideas and ways of interpreting a theme, but I am totally impressed (as usual) with how your mind works. This is beautiful. A bit seductive, but beautiful.

  16. Lori, this would have been a perfect cover for my book, Woman Within the Web, which takes place in a catle in the Loire Valley. A haunted castle. Wish we could have collaborated on that book back then!

    This is a fantastic image.
