Lotus Blossom

The theme at Sunday Postcard Art this week is "Oriental". My 4x6 postcard is made from several layers of artist paper backgrounds overlayed with image blended in Photoshop. I added symbols and script and added inverse filters for highlights.

  2. Lori, You've done it again! I'm just so enamored of anything oriental in theme. This is so rich and delicate at the same time.

  3. I really like the oriental designs you used in the upper and lower corners. They are the perfect addition to the lotus blossoms and geishas.

  13. So exquisite, so beautiful. I love the super-imposed, ghostly lotus flower effect. Wonderful artwork, as always.

(PS - I really do try to be serious but sometimes when a theme isn't speaking to me I end up making a joke of it. Sorry about the big feet. My inspiration is my 11 year old granddaughter who is not very tall or very big but she has VERY long feet - size 9's at this time and two sizes bigger than all the adult females in our family!!)
