Hallowed Space

This is my entry for the Three Muses Challenge this week where the theme is Architecture. I have always found that space as defined by architecture is profoundly influential in my mood and 'comfort' in my surroundings. And that goes for good or bad design! We have all walked into buildings that we just have to get out of and others that we could stay all day. My digital collage shows a woman finding peace and quiet amongst the ruins of an old abbey - still sacred space defined by its character and ambiance.

  3. Beautiful. I especially like the doves. Their flapping wings help convey the feeling of great space within the building--I can hear the sound...

  4. Not only is the completed work beautiful, your columns are exactly what I'm looking for to complete a steampunk type piece. Your attention to detail is always appreciated and seldom missed. You really ARE an inspiration to me.
